Field Service Technician to join our team. In this dynamic, mobile role, you’ll travel to various job sites and plant locations to keep our fleet of trucks, mixers, and heavy equipment running at peak performance. Your Mission & Key Responsibilities
- Travel to job sites and plant locations to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the field using advanced diagnostic tools and your technical expertise.
- Rebuild, replace, or repair major components of diesel engines, such as heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions, on-site as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and plant teams to coordinate service calls and minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain a well-organized service vehicle stocked with necessary tools, parts, and safety equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures while working independently at remote locations.
- Accurately document all maintenance and repair work performed in the field.
- Stay current on the latest diesel engine technology, repair techniques, and industry best practices.
What Sets You Apart
- Proven experience as a Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or similar role—preferably in the concrete, construction, or heavy equipment industries.
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and mobile repair equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in diverse environments.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
- Willingness to travel daily and undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
- Commitment to safety standards and protocols at all times.
