Export Control Laws:

Unless explicitly notified otherwise, our vacancies are covered by Export Control Laws which require candidates to be from an "Export Safe" Country as deemed by the Japanese Government.

<key activities / role and responsibilities>

• Actively fulfill the following (but not limited to) project-related tasks as a project manager

　　・Responsibility for the design and delivery of space missions (or aspects thereof) on complex engineering projects. To be achieved via the coordination of matrixed project / engineering teams.

　　・Planning and delivery of project review gates, including management and production of associated deliverables.

　　・Definition and maintenance of an appropriate balance of quality, cost, schedule, and risk, whilst delivering projects and their associated outputs.

　　・Generation of project inputs to mission concept studies and bid work, in support of the wider business.

　　・Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and programmed partners as necessary in support of project, bids, or similar activities.

• Any other duties assigned by the reporting manager.
  
  

<Mandatory>

• 10+ years’ experience in engineering, project, or program management
• ‘Technical’ project management skillset (delivery, schedule, financial, risk management, etc)

• Experience working closely with Systems Engineering teams.

• Experience in team building and team management

• Mindset to enjoy various challenges in a developing organization.

• Japanese Native, or equivalent to JLPT N1 

• English Skill TOEIC 800+ or equivalent

<Desirable>

• Full mission lifecycle experience from requirements definition to verification, delivery, commissioning, and operations

• Experience working with spacecraft sub-system functional teams such as Guidance Navigation Control (GNC / AOCS), Command & Data Handing (C&DH / OBDH), Propulsion, Software, Ground Segment, Operations, etc.

• Awareness of Assembly Integration and Verification processes

• Experience of supplier management or unit procurement

• A basic knowledge of debris removal, EOL (end-of-life), in-orbit maintenance or servicing

＜職務内容/役割・責任＞

プロジェクトマネージャーとして、以下に代表されるプロジェクトマネジメントの活動を主体的に実施する。

• 複雑なエンジニアリングを伴う、宇宙ミッションの設計および納入に責任を持つ。当該目的を達成するために、エンジニアリングチームおよび関連する他プロジェクトと密に協業する。
• プロジェクトレビューゲート（審査会等）を計画・開催し、成果物の制作およびマネジメントを実施する。
• 各プロジェクトに適したバランスの品質・コスト・スケジュール・リスクを定義し、計画したアウトプットを納入する。
• 当社ビジネスをサポートするための、ミッションコンセプトスタディーや入札に対して、プロジェクト側からのインプットを生成・提供する。
• プロジェクトおよび入札等をサポートするために、顧客・サプライヤー・パートナーとの窓口を務め、良好な関係を維持する。

その他、上長より指示を受けた業務について、遂行する。

<必須条件>

• 10年以上のエンジニアリング、プロジェクト、プログラムマネジメント経験

• 技術的プロジェクトマネジメントスキルセット（納期、スケジュール、財務、リスク管理など）

• システムエンジニアリングチームと密接に協力した経験

• チームビルディングおよびチームマネジメントの経験

• 発展途上の組織で様々なチャレンジを楽しむマインドセット
• 日本語ネイティブ、または日本語能力試験N1相当レベル 
• ビジネス英語スキル TOEIC800点以上または同等レベル

<望ましい条件>

• 要件定義から検証、引渡し、試運転、運用に至るミッションライフサイクル全般の経験

• 誘導航法制御（GNC / AOCS）、コマンド＆データハンドリング（C&DH / OBDH）、推進、ソフトウェア、地上セグメント、運用などの宇宙船サブシステム機能チームとの協働経験

• 組立統合および検証プロセスの認識

• サプライヤー管理またはユニット調達の経験

• デブリ除去、EOL（耐用年数終了）、軌道上保守またはサービスに関する基礎知識
