Job Description

  • Regular inspection, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical production
    equipment throughout the facility.
    · Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical and mechanical systems on all automation
    equipment.
    · Ensuring the compliance of all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health
    administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functions.
    · Maintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted.
    · Efficiently managing time and completing all tasks assigned by the supervisory authority.
    · Reporting damages, defects and other issues pertaining to electrical and mechanical units to
    the supervising manager.
    · Documenting spare and replacement parts required and completing all necessary
    documentation for the same.
    · Appropriately using and handling all electrical repair and testing tools and equipment.
    · Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance
    when observed.
    · Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
    · Other duties as assigned.

Weekday 1st shift-Wednesday – Saturday 7am- 530 pm $25hr

Salary: $25.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift diff.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year maintenance experience
  •  In depth electrical and mechanical experience.
     Proficient in working with voltages from 24 volts to 480 volts.
     PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
     AVG (Automated Guided Vehicle) or LVG (Laser Guided Vehicle) experience.
     Knowledge of working with HMI’s.
     Ability to work independently.
     Proficient in Preventative Maintenance tasks and services.
     Automation experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
     Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
     Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
     Sound understanding of using all electrical testing equipment.
     Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools.
     Ability to operate a forklift.
     Should follow oral or written instructions.
     Team mindset.
     Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
     High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education
     Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.
