Τεχνικός Υδραυλικών Πυρόσβεσης

Περίληψη:

Υπεύθυνος για την εγκατάσταση, δοκιμή και συντήρηση σωληνώσεων και εξαρτημάτων πυρόσβεσης (sprinklers, πυροσβεστικοί κρουνοί), σύμφωνα με τα εγκεκριμένα σχέδια και τα πρότυπα ασφαλείας.

Κύριες Αρμοδιότητες:

• Εγκατάσταση δικτύων σωληνώσεων και εξαρτημάτων πυρόσβεσης

• Υδροστατικές δοκιμές και υποστήριξη στην παράδοση του συστήματος

• Επιθεώρηση, αντικατάσταση και καθαρισμός εξαρτημάτων

• Συνεργασία με άλλες τεχνικές ομάδες και αναφορά προόδου

• Εγκατάσταση Συστήματος:

  • Τοποθέτηση σωληνώσεων για δίκτυα καταιονιστήρων και πυροσβεστικών κρουνών σύμφωνα με τα εγκεκριμένα σχέδια.

  • Σύνδεση καταιονιστήρων, ακροφυσίων, πυροσβεστικών κρουνών, βαλβίδων και στηριγμάτων.

  • Εκτέλεση αυλάκωσης, σπειρώματος, κοπής, συγκόλλησης και ένωσης γαλβανισμένων σωλήνων.

  • Τοποθέτηση βάσεων, στηριγμάτων και αναρτήσεων σε σωστά σημεία και ευθυγραμμίσεις.

Προσόντα:

• Τεχνικό δίπλωμα σε Υδραυλικά ή Πυρόσβεση

• 2 - 4 χρόνια σχετικής εμπειρίας

• Ικανότητα ανάγνωσης σχεδίων και χρήσης εργαλείων εγκατάστασης

• Βασική γνώση προτύπων NFPA (επιθυμητή)

Plumbing Technician Fire Fighting (Sprinklers & Fire Hose Reels)

Department: Mechanical / Fire Protection

Reports To: Fire Fighting Supervisor / Project Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Job Purpose:

To carry out installation, testing, and maintenance of fire fighting plumbing systems, including sprinkler networks and fire hose reels, ensuring compliance with project drawings, technical specifications, and applicable safety and fire protection standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Installation:
• Install piping networks for fire sprinklers and hose reels as per approved drawings and instructions.
• Fix and connect sprinklers, nozzles, hose reels, valves, and supports using proper tools and fittings.
• Carry out grooving, threading, cutting, welding, and joining of galvanised steel pipes
• Install brackets, hangers, and pipe supports at correct intervals and alignments.
• Testing & Commissioning Support:
• Assist in hydrostatic pressure tests and flushing procedures.
• Help identify leaks, blockages, or installation faults and perform corrective actions.
• Support in commissioning and final handover of fire fighting systems.
• Maintenance (if part of the role):
• Inspect and service existing sprinkler and hose reel systems periodically.
• Replace damaged or corroded components and ensure operability of the system.
• Health & Safety:
• Follow site safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Adhere to fire safety and occupational health regulations on construction or maintenance sites.
• Coordination:
• Coordinate with other mechanical and electrical teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Report work progress, issues, and completed tasks to supervisors or foremen.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:
• Diploma or technical training certificate in plumbing, mechanical installation, or fire fighting systems.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2-4 years experience in plumbing works related to fire sprinkler and hose reel systems on construction or maintenance projects.
• Skills & Knowledge:
• Ability to read plumbing/shop drawings and installation details.
• Familiarity with fire fighting system components (pumps, pipes, valves, sprinklers, hose reels, etc.).
• Hands-on experience using tools such as pipe wrenches, threading machines, grooving tools, and pressure gauges.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards or local fire safety codes is a plus.
