What you’ll do as Engineering Lead – EVA Copper:
Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in the design, development, integration, and optimisation of hybrid power systems
Oversees the delivery of reliable, safe, and cost‑efficient solutions combining renewable energy technologies: solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and conventional generation (diesel, gas) for an industrial remote application
Provide technical leadership, ensures engineering quality, manages project delivery, and drives continuous innovation across hybrid energy architectures
Preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts
Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve problems and minimise delays
May support in overseeing installation, testing and/or commissioning of new solutions and support the Project Team with selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors
You are:
Degree qualified engineer with established experience leading the engineering design and delivery process of Hybrid renewable energy projects
Have experience in leading projects on the ground that are combined energy technology solutions
Have a high level of design and standards knowledge related to renewable energy technologies
Have experience overseeing budgets, delivery governance and strategic purchasing
Experience in HSE and Quality audits, ensuring compliance with required legislation
