As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals for our restaurant, banquets, and other outlets in accordance with established recipes, ensuring proper portion control and consistent quality. You will help deliver an exceptional dining experience by maintaining high standards of food preparation, minimizing waste, and supporting efficient kitchen operations.Collaboration with the service team and other departments is essential to ensure timely, safe, and delicious food delivery that enhances overall guest satisfaction. All duties must be performed in compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and local operational policies.

職務内容と責任 / DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Returns

• Advise supervisor of low inventory items; assist in receiving items and taking inventory as required; minimize waste

People

• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Key departmental contacts include Sales and Marketing, Catering, Banquets, Outlets, Maintenance, and Guest Services. May occasionally interact directly with guests

Guest Experience

• Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work area, including but not limited to reach-ins, walk-ins and counters. Reports all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.

Responsible Business

• May assist by performing ware washer or other duties as needed
• Prepare and cook orders for daily operations
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area that meet or exceed the state and local
• Health Board inspection and InterContinental requirements.
• Tell your supervisor or duty manager about any unsafe equipment, low supplies or safety incidents
• Help create a safe space by following our safety procedures and wearing necessary protective equipment
• May assist with other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Basic reading, writing and math skills. Some food preparation experience or training preferred. Fluent In the local language

This job requires ability to perform the following:

• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Standing up and moving about the kitchen
• Handling food, objects, products and utensils
• Bending, stooping, kneeling

Other:

• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with other cooks, wait staff and supervisors
• Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when preparing meals from a recipe or when monitoring inventory.
• Mathematical skills, including basic math, percentages, quantities, and variances are used frequently.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

• 安全な作業環境を維持するため、安全規定を遵守し、必要な保護具を着用してください

資格と条件:

• 基本的な読み書きおよび計算能力
• 食品調理の経験またはトレーニングがあれば尚可
• 現地の言語を流暢に話せること

• 厨房内での立ち仕事や移動
• 食材、製品、調理器具の取り扱い

その他の要件：

• 他の調理スタッフ、サービススタッフ、上司とのコミュニケーション能力が頻繁に求められます
• レシピに基づいた調理や在庫管理の際に、読み書き能力が必要です
• 基本的な数学スキル（割合、数量、差異の計算など）が頻繁に使われます
• 地方自治体または州の規定により、アルコール取扱い認証、食品衛生許可証または有効な食品取扱者カードが必要な場合があります
• 夜間、週末、祝日の勤務が必要となる場合があります
