Canaves Collection, a renowned luxury hospitality company, is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual for the position of Assistant Housekeeping Manager. Canaves Collection owns and manages four luxury resorts located in the cosmopolitan village of Oia, Santorini Island. As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are consistently clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate should be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, have a keen eye for detail, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in supervising and managing the housekeeping team, including training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of guest requests and efficient coordination of housekeeping activities.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and equipment inventory, and place orders as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
• Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and provide appropriate resolutions.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members and foster a culture of teamwork and cooperation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within the luxury hospitality industry.
• A degree in Tourism or Hospitality is required
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in English is required
