As an Applications Engineer I – Service Delivery Applications, you will support job execution through involvement in pre-planning, execution and post-job analysis. You will design job programs and technical applications that maximize performance, mitigate risks and ensure alignment with customer objectives and contractual requirements.

As an Applications Engineer I, you will be responsible for:

Job Planning & Application Design

  • Ensure compliance with the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
  • Work with Service Delivery Coordinators and Sales to understand customer objectives and contract terms.
  • Perform offset well analysis and engineering modeling calculations to identify risks.
  • Design job programs including risk mitigation and contingency plans.

Execution Support & Risk Management

  • Provide on-demand technical support during job execution.
  • Communicate risks effectively using appropriate channels.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure all constraints are addressed.

Post-Job Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Compare planned vs executed jobs and document lessons learned.
  • Recommend improvements to procedures and applications.

Incident Management & Technical Support

  • Support investigation of field incidents.
  • Participate in incident investigations across full lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely incident management and resolution.
  • Advise on product improvement opportunities.

Collaboration & Commercial Support

  • Provide technical support to Sales and product recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Support special projects and product line activities.

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Have strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills.
  • Have strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Have the ability to work in a global matrix organization.
  • Have flexibility to be on-call outside business hours.
  • Have willingness to travel as required.

  • Operational or field experience in service delivery environments.
  • Confidence presenting to experienced audiences.
  • Ability to influence and work across teams.
  • Experience using tools for data analysis and visualization.
  • Ability to work independently.
