✈️ Aircraft Line Maintenance Supervisor (B1.1) – Lead the Team That Keeps DHL Flying!

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor (B1.1) to join our team at Copenhagen Airport. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on aircraft maintenance with operational leadership and people management, ensuring our aircraft operate safely, efficiently, and on time. You’ll lead a team of experienced aircraft mechanics while remaining actively involved in maintenance activities across DHL’s Airbus A300, Boeing 757, and Boeing 767 fleet.

Your Role

As Line Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily operation and people management of a team of aircraft engineers.

You will combine operational coordination with hands-on maintenance on DHL's Airbus A300, Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 aircraft.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coordinating daily line maintenance activities, including planning, prioritizing and allocating resources.
• Providing day-to-day leadership, supporting employee development and following up on team performance.
• Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance within the scope of your authorizations.
• Monitoring the daily operation, including the Daily Operating Plan and relevant KPIs.
• Managing operational challenges and escalating issues when required.
• Ensuring maintenance is performed in accordance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.

You will report directly to the Station Manager and work closely with colleagues across DHL's international maintenance organization.

Our fixed day/night shift rotation provides regular weeks off and plenty of free weekends, giving you the opportunity to plan your time outside work.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled aircraft engineer who combines technical expertise with the ability to lead and support others.

You take pride in your work, communicate clearly and make sound decisions, even when operational priorities change.

Beyond technical qualifications, we value the right attitude and a strong team spirit. You lead by example, build trust and create a working environment where your colleagues feel supported and can perform at their best.

Previous experience in a formal supervisory role is an advantage, but we also welcome applications from experienced engineers who have demonstrated leadership potential and are ready to take the next step in their careers.

What we expect from you

• A valid EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License, minimum category B1.1.
• At least one aircraft type rating endorsed on your Part-66 license. This does not need to be on one of DHL's aircraft types.
• Relevant and documented aircraft maintenance experience.
• The ability to lead, coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• A valid driving licence.
• The legal right to work in Denmark.
• The ability to successfully complete the required background checks and obtain an airport ID card.
• Availability to work our day/night shift rotation.

It would be an advantage if you also have

• An additional B2 category on your Part-66 license.
• A type rating on the A300, B757 and/or B767.
• A type rating covering the Airbus A330 or A321, or relevant experience on either type.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role.

You do not need to hold a type rating on our aircraft to apply. We provide relevant type training, and you must be willing to complete the required A300/B757 type training.
