Job Description
Corporate Milestone
- Lead the planning and execution of communications for major corporate milestones, including investments, partnerships, innovation achievements, leadership visits, and strategic announcements, to maximize reach and impact across omni-channel communications.
- Create high-quality communications materials, including press releases, feature articles, speeches, Q&As, key messages, and communications toolkits, to support communications campaigns.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure message alignment, effective coordination, and adherence to communications governance.
Media Relation
- Strong relationships with national, regional and trade media to strengthen AstraZeneca's corporate reputation.
- Identify and develop proactive storytelling opportunities that enhance AstraZeneca's visibility and thought leadership.
- Manage media policies, processes, and governance to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective engagement with the media across the organization.
Business Partner for Corporate Affairs
- Partner with the Corporate Affairs team, including the Government Affairs and Sustainability teams, to develop communications plans that support government engagement and sustainability initiatives.
- Provide communications support for high-level government meetings, official visits, and sustainability initiatives, including developing messaging, communications materials, and other related content.
Corporate Content
- Develop engaging corporate content including company narratives, introduction, factsheet, boilerplate, brochure and etc.
- Ensure consistency of corporate narrative, tone of voice and brand positioning across all communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- 6-10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or media, preferably within healthcare, pharmaceuticals.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Chinese.
- Experience in agency or media preferred.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, matrixed, multinational environment.
