Job TitleQuality Engineer 质量工程师

• Develop quality standards for the organization's raw materials, in-process products, and finished products and design and implement the measures, tests, sampling methods, and other procedures that ensure that these standards are met.

• To provide a means of communication directly with a Customer to develop and supply a component which meets or exceeds the Customer requirements

• To assist in the development of subcontractors and serve as an interface for information flow between the Customer, Company and the subcontractor

• Assist in the general operation and the day to day demands of the Q.A. Dept.

• Support, Foster, Promote and Demonstrate Linamar’s Core Values and Leadership Behaviors.

• Perform quality analysis and inspections, for example data analysis, benchmark testing, localization, and destructive/non-destructive analysis. Evaluate raw materials, components, and other inputs to the production process and liaise with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that their products meet the organization's quality standards. Evaluate the organization's manufacturing processes, systems, and technology and recommend changes that will improve the quality of the organization's finished products. Maintain and analyze quality records to prepare regular and ad hoc reports; check that established testing procedures are being followed; identify and address recurring problems either with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures. Educate and train quality assurance inspectors and other staff to ensure that they understand and comply with established quality procedures and standards.

• Assist with the Advance Planning and Customer Focus Team meetings of new and existing projects

• Plan and develop control plan

• Plan and review Quality and Engineering requirements

• Preparation of instructions and processes to assist manufacturing

• Act as liaison for selected customers to ensure their inquiries and requirements are responded to and addressed in a timely manner

• Investigation and problem solving for customer and process related concerns

• Interface with suppliers and subcontractors

• Review for accuracy of process documentation and update as required

• Update process documentation

• Maintain inter-departmental communications

• Assist in quality and cost improving activities

Credentials

• University/college education in engineering or manufacturing or quality or equivalent

工程制造质量专业，本科或大专学历

Desired Characteristics

• Ability to meet, realize and support customers’ product requirements, implement the knowledge of operationsystem and specific requirement

• 3+ year experience in Quality Assurance management

• Experience in machining or manufacturing environment

• Basic knowledge of materials

• Experience in Quality Control/Assurance functions

• Experience with MS Office, and Auto CAD

• Must possess good communication skills
