Introduction

We are looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Intern who is fluent in Cantonese, English, and Chinese, preferably based in Shanghai. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about the social media industry, enjoy content creation, and have a good understanding of Hong Kong culture and current trends.


In this Role, you’ll get to

  • Assist in creating, editing, and posting engaging social media content (videos, photos, captions, etc.) for platforms such as Instagram, Youtube, Threads and Facebook.
  • Stay updated with local hot topics and viral trends in Hong Kong.
  • Manage and grow Hong Kong-based social communities, including WhatsApp groups and other platforms.
  • Engage with users and followers — reply to comments, messages, and group discussions
  • Support content planning, campaign brainstorming, and social media strategy.
  • Edit short-form videos using tools like CapCut, VN, or Premiere.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and cultural relevance.

What you'll Need to Succeed

  • Proficient in Cantonese, and English, (both written and spoken).

  • Passionate about social media, pop culture, and content creation
  • Good understanding of Hong Kong culture, internet trends, and youth communities.
  • Experience or interest in community management (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.).
  • Basic video editing and creative storytelling skills.
  • Active on TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Redbook, or any social media is a plus.
  • Students majoring in marketing, communication, media, or related fields are preferred.
